It seems like such an unusual name, it makes you wonder if there might be some family connection. There seems to have been alot of going back and forth between VA and NC during that time. Do you know what county your Kessiah was in in VA? I know there were Dillons in Henry County VA, which is right over the border from NC. There were also lots of Dillons in southwest VA during this period. Good Luck!
