I wonder if you would consider sending out feelers to your relative friends about my query. I am looking for information about my beloved step-grandmother, Alice McClure Connors (Mrs. Francis John "F.J." Connors", a widower from Illinois). Her mother was LAURA DILLON. Alice did not have any children of her own, but raised my father, Frank John Connors and his two sisters, Mary Rose Connors Earle and Elizabeth Connors Glendenning-Denny from approximately pre-teens until they were old enuf to be on their own. I always remember her lovingly introducing my father to her friends as, "my son Frankie." She and my grandfather lived in the Bunker Hill area of downtown Los Angeles, California. After his death, she settled in North Hollywood, California where she died in 1952. As I recall, she was a charter member of both North Hollywood Chapters of the Eastern Star and White Shrine.
