I am looking to connect my William DILLON with his proper parents and ancestors. William was born in Ohio, perhaps in Monroe County. We find William in the 1850 Monroe County, Green township census with his wife Elizabeth and three young sons: Abraham age 6, Henry age 4 and John age 3. Birth place for his wife Elizabeth is shown as being VA. Also living in the 1850 Dillon household was an 80 year old lady by the name of Elizabeth Highley who may have been William's mother-in-law. If that was true, wife Elizabeth's maiden name would be Highley. Does anyone have information on my DILLON family? I have searched the usual sources for information on this family.
