    1. [DILLON] Gerard Dillon of Belfast
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Dillon Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/BAT.2ACIB/1045 Message Board Post: Gerard Dillon was born 4.20.16. He was my Grandmother, Anne Dillon's, brother. She was also born in Belfast (Falls Street area) on 10.22.10. She moved to the U.S sometime between 1941-1947 and married my Grandfather and settled in Battle Creek, MI. I have read the Illustrated biography of Gerard Dillon (James White wrote) and found a wealth of information about their parents and siblings but there are few references to Anne Dillon. I'm looking for any information on the family and why/when she came to the states. They had a brother Vincent who took the priesthood and eventually settled, also, in Battle Creek. Their parents were Joseph Henry Dillon and Annie (Foley). Thanks for any help!

The bio is about her husband, Oz Cunningham. He was born in Arkansas, but married her in Kern County, Calif. after having spent his high school years in Porterville Calif and a spent 3 years in military service. I am not related to this family and have no other information about them other than the bio. You might look her up in the 1920 census (probably in Kern County CA). That would tell you where she was born...

    1. [DILLON] Sidney Dillon - Pacific Railways
    2. Sue Rylands
    3. Hi all, I have some information from a deceased relative that my 4x g,father Thomas DILLON born c1831 Lancs, England. travelled from England and along with a Sidney DILLON became senior engineer on the Canadian Pacific Railway construction. I know Thomas returned to England around 1865 or before and I thought maybe Sidney was the one who became a director and died 1892 in America ( I think). However, I have learnt that Sidney DILLON was born in Northampton, New York, so maybe he was no relation at all. Does anyone know if there are records available which might indicate when my Thomas became an engineer or where he might have lived whilst working there or census records which might help please? His son John was born in possibly Quebec in 1856 and another Canada 1858 if this helps. I would be grateful for any help at all. Thanks, Sue.

We have a great deal of Leeper information going back well before the Revolution. Also a fair amount of Amspoker data, all of whom were your ancestors if you are descended from John L. Please write.
