We have just been told that the fires are now 5 miles on the other side of the mountain at the Air force academy. If you are not fimalier with our geography borders the northern part of Colorado Springs. If it makes it over the mountain we are in serious trouble. We are asking for rain, so please remember us in your prayers. I hope you are still checking this forum. We are related to the Dillons you mention. We have found information on Dr. Dillon, which gives both his wives, his parents, and his birthplace as Loudoun Co., Va. His family came to Belmont Co. His parents were William and Sarah (Spencer) Dillon, and he had a lot of siblings, some born in Va., and the rest in Ohio. We don't know, however, where the parents came from, or their parents. There also are other Dillon families in Belmont from Virginia. Hattie Wilson was my mother's grandmother. We got her death certificate last spring, but it didn't give her parents names. She was born in Washington Co., Oh.
