    1. [DILLON] William Dillon, 1822, Ohio
    2. Perry Adams
    3. I am still looking to connect my William DILLON with his proper parents and ancestors. William was born in 1822 in Ohio and probably died in the mid 1870s in Wayne County or Decatur county, IA. He married in Monroe County Ohio in 1843 to Elizabeth ??. They had three sons: Abraham born in 1844, Henry born in 1846 and John born in 1847. The family was living in Monroe county in 1850. About 1853 the William DILLON family moved to Wayne County and purchased a farm near the Decatur Iowa border where William and his wife Elizabeth donated some land part of their farm for a cemetery. Does anyone connect with this family and their ancestors? Thank you for your help. Perry Adams San Carlos, California

Most of mine come from Kilkelly and I see that Dominic has written that your Dillons do not seem to be part of that branch. My grandmother, Annie, had nine siblings, but all I found so far are two: Bridgette and Patrick. Was Patrick born in the 1870's? Thanks, Harry

    1. [DILLON] CORRECTION TO EARLIER MESSAGE ON ABRAHAM DILLON, LOGAN COUNTY, OHIO
    2. Perry Adams
    3. In my earlier message I said that Abraham Dillon was born in 1733 where it should read his birth as 1793. If Abraham married around 1815, he and his wife could be the parents of my William Dillon born in 1822 as one of their 8 children. Thanks again for your help Perry Adams > I am looking to connect my William Dillon (born in 1822) with his proper > parentage. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BAT.2ACIB/1123.1 Message Board Post: I don't know if this will be any help, but there was a Keziah Dillon in Tyrrell County NC in the early 1800's. It seems like such an unusual name, it makes you wonder if there might be some family connection. There seems to have been alot of going back and forth between VA and NC during that time. Do you know what county your Kessiah was in in VA? I know there were Dillons in Henry County VA, which is right over the border from NC. There were also lots of Dillons in southwest VA during this period. Good Luck!
