She was born in Edinboro, Pa. on July 11, 1915, daughter of the late Jay and Jennie Taber Dunton. Helen had resided in Lawrence Park since 1961 and prior to that had resided in Edinboro and Wesleyville, where she was active in the Wesley United Methodist Church and the local schools. She was a member of Lawrence Park United Methodist Church and a member of the Women's Society. Helen was a graduate of Edinboro College and taught in the Edinboro, Fairview, Harborcreek and Iroquois School Districts. She was Building Principal at Lawrence Park Primary School from 1966 until she retired in 1980. After retirement, Helen did substitute teaching. She was a member of the National Education Assn., the PA State Education Assn., the Reading Assn. and Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Education Sorority, Iota Chapter. She had served as secretary and vice president with the Lawrence Park Garden Club. The widow of Eugene A. Dietrich, ! Helen is survived by one daughter, Penny Detrisac (Paul) of Niles, Mich.; one son, Dr. Gary Dietrich (Tina) of Harleysville, Pa.; one sister, Phyllis Dunton of Shippensburg, Pa.; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Blair and Howard Dunton. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lawrence Park United Methodist Church conducted by Rev.
