I am not related, but wanted to make the information available on this site. Huge framed marriage certificate from Lititz, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This certifies that John E. Correll of R. #4, Ephrata, Pa. and Helen M. Dietrich of Akron, Pa were married in Lititz, PA on the 21st day of April, 1934. Signed by the pastor, F.A. Weicksel, and a witness P.A. Weicksel. Frame measures 15 x 18. When I took the backing off, I discovered another certificate under it from the Palmer Method Business Writing to Helen Dietrich for profiency in Rapid Legible Business Writing, dated May 21, 1929, signed by S.W. Palmer, C.J. Newcomb, and A.A. Davis, given at New York City. Cool find. I am putting it back under the backing to protect it from damage. The student certificate is very fragile and discolored, the marriage license is somewhat discolored but seems in better condition. The frame has some nicks and scuffs.
