I have been researched to the ends attempting to find a marriage record on both and/or birth record from a church to no avail. I have paid 2 researchers, traveled to Lebanon my mothers place and visited the historical societys in the surrounding area but no luck. There off spring married into the Zimmersman's and Zieglers but I cannot locate any living currently. In order to allow my sons and grand sons to join the SAR I need some proof. The SAR will not use old records prior to 1961 because when then moved from DC to KY., they lost a lot of the records. They are afraid of forgery's. So any records on Ancestry are not good. The one church I thought that Philip and Elizabeth may have been married in was the Derry Church but the records were burnt up in a fire in 1884. Go figure. So, now I have to look else where. One piece that may still be out there. On 17 Sept 1965 an article selling antiques and other house hold items appears for several days in the Lebanon paper. It mentioned a Enchirdion or hand book by Philip Dietrich and many more items. I know by one account that a family Bible did exist. So I am asking for help to find that Bible if any one has any suggestions I would be most greatful. Dave Wyble Sr. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
