I've been searching for my great uncle Jacob Carl Dietrich, born in Kreuznach, Germany (Prussia) on Oct. 4, 1848. He came to the U.S. in March of 1883, with his wife, Philippina, son Carl (11 months) and nephew Franz Dietrich, about 9 years old. My Mom told me that her parents and Jacob's family had moved to Narrowsburg NY. Her parents moved to Scranton PA, but Jacob disappears. His wife, Philippina, married a Michael Merzweiler in 1898 in NY, and lived in the Bronx. I have no idea what happened to Jacob or their son Carl. I don't know if he returned to Germany, died, or got divorced. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ruth
