MALLETT, 78, died Sept. 8, 1996, at a local care facility. She had worked at the Broadmoor Hotel. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., is handling arrangements. Mrs. Mallett was born Sept. 5, 1918, in Walsenburg to George and Frances (Brunelli) Dick. She was married Oct. 15, 1938, in Alamosa to Dell Mallett. Her husband lives in Colorado Springs. She also is survived by a son, Jerry of Denver; two daughters, Mylene Litherland and Chris Hemming, both of Colorado Springs; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Mrs. Mallett graduated from St. Mary's High School in Walsenburg. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening and reading.
