    3. Thanks to everyone who responded re: my Essweiler Marriage record translation request. I'm going to try and apply what I have learned towards translating another marriage record I found that may or may not contain an ancestor of mine. Hopefully I can apply something I have learned from my DICK and JUNG marriage record. I only know back to my grandfather. I am new at this and really don't know a whole lot about what I am doing. I seem to hit dead-ends everywhere I turn. This will be a lengthy letter, but I want you to know who I have found thus far and see if any of these names are familiar to you. My grandfather was George Harris Hart (b. 4/08/1888;d. 12/28/1964); he married Maxie ?(unsure of last name and date of birth and death). They had three children: Sara Lottie(b. 09/7/1909);Georgia Mae (b. 08/05/1912);Maxie Lee (b. 03/27/1915). Their mother died when Maxie was a tiny infant. A short while later, Grandpa Hart married Laura Ida Johnson Spence(b. 10/30/1888;d.04/26/1943). She had a daughter;Irene Spence(b.07/28/1914)when she and Grandpa got married. After their marriage, they had eight children: Maggie Laura(b.09/14/1917); Lessie Emily(b.11/07/1919);Henry Hugh (Bo)(b.11/08/1921); Lena Belle (b.11/28/1923); Mattie Ruth(b.02/10/1926); George Wright(b.09/13/1928; Homer Franklin(b.04/26/1931); and Ashley Talmadge (Dick)(b.02/26/1934. After Grandma Laura died, he married Grace Hewlett(?) (unsure of spelling of last name), they were married at the time of his death. He is buried in the cemetery at Sharon Church in Rhine, Ga. (I think that is the name of the little town. I hope someone out there can help me... If any of these names look familiar, please e-mail me and I will send the dates of marriages, deaths and the names of as many of the children that I know. Thanks, N.
