DEWHURST, overseer, Jan 31, 1809 Mar 1, 1809 Felony Whereas George NUTTALL, late of Yate Bank, in the County of Lancashire, Laborer, stands indicted at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace ...held at Preston, Lancachire, 14 July last.... for that he, (along with James NUTTALL and John OLDEN) on the first day of June last, at Mellor with Eccleshill, in the County aforesaid 35 pieces of cotton cloth, of the value of one penny; 35 pieces of cotton cloth, commonly called Calico, of the value of one penny; 300 yards of cotton cloth, of the value of one penny; 300 yards of cotton cloth, commonly called Calico, of the value of one penny the goods and Chattel of Robert SMALLEY and John CATLOW the Younger, with force and Arms, feloniously did steal take and carry away, against the Peace of Our Lord, the King, his Crown and Dignity And whereas the said George NUTHALL hath run away from his Dwelling House in Yate Bank aforesaid, and is now secreting himself in this Country. Notice is Hereby given that whoever will apprehend the said George NUTTALL and bring him to the said Robert SMALLEY and John CATLOW, or lodge him in any of his Majestys Goals, will be handsomely rewarded, and all reasonable expenses paid on applying to Mr. Robert DEWHURST, Attorney at Law, Blackburn.
