I think your Francis/Elizabeth marriage are my gr. gr. grandparents. Her last name was Beryty. A page copied from a family bible I have the following: Francis Dewhurst b. 5/2/1813 d.7/31/1887 baptized at Waddington m. Elizabeth Beryty b. 5/1/1816 d. 4/6/1885 a son George died 2/26/1846 buried at Lenchester, Durham County age 16 months another George Dewhurst 7/31/1846 in Durham I think they left England around 1852, they settled in Ohio. George m. Dorcus Amanda Anderson in March 20.1871 in Hocking Co., Ohio. He is my Great Grandfather on my mothers fathers side. They had a James Vernon, Nov. 29. 1887 in Hocking County, Ohio. He is my grandfather on my mothers side.
