I have been trying to get info on my dad's side of the family, but am constantly stonewalled. My grandfather was Richard Butterworth HOLLINGS. He was born 25 Mar 1881 in San Francisco or Oakland, California. He died 1 Nov 1948 in San Luis Obispo, CA. His father was Peter T. HOLLINGS, born abt 1850 probably in New York state. He died 19 Oct 1928 in Brooklyn, NY. He lived most of his adult life in the Oakland/Alameda, CA, area. Does this fit with any info you have. I would certainly appreciate any help you could give me.
