Morning all, Coincidence or not!!! George E. [Elliott] SEARLE and wife Mary are at 29 Edgecumbe St in 1851 with children Emily and Alfred [Milton Ambrose SEARLE born N York 1847 not with them] Lodging with them is a William AMBROSE who I think could be a brother to Mary the wife. So far no marriage found for George E. SEARLE and wife Mary. I assume they married in New York where Milton is born. Now here is my next little puzzle. Another George SEARLE married a Jane Paulina O'CONNELL Mar Q 1854 at East Stonehouse. Jane died one year later and she is also of Edgecumbe St, and is also buried at Ford Park . One of George Elliott's sons Alfred Augustus is also of Edgecumbe St and is also buried at Ford Park Would anyone please be able to see if there is a marriage on FMP for this George SEARLE and and Jane Paulina O'CONNELL in 1854. I suspect that this George could be the s/o George and Sarah SEARLE. Regards and thanks so much. Bev
