Hi again, I think I may have answered part of this for my self. I did not find this marriage on Findmypast at LDS on Tuesday although it must be there. Have just pulled out the trusty old Marriage CD and found this. William FRAZER to Elizabeth BEER 8 Feb 1810 [with Notes] Plymouth St Andrew. Is anyone please able to see what the image says on FMP for this marriage. [providing it is there] I now need to find a burial for William Frazer/Fazier/Fraser 1810- 1821. There does not seem to be one on my CD. Sorry about the multiple listings, but I thought that the FRASER may have come from Cornwall. Bev -------------------------------------------------- From: "B. Hi Bev, just looking at the image for the marriage 8th Feb 1810 William Frazer , Royal Artillery , and Elizabeth Beer, of this parish. by Banns, by John Gandy, vicar, William Frazer signs and so does Elizabeth. Witnesses John Beer, Mary BeerX her mark , and James Boulter. who signs other marriages so may be the parish clerk .. William Frazer also has a middle name crossed out . On closer inspection I think he just made a blodge of writing his surname , it looks like Farser or similar . There is the burial of a William Frazer , 2yrs 1 month in Aug 1812 . Stoke Damerel . Wm senior if in the RA at this time could have been killed anywhere This is mid Napoleonic wars . I don`t see him in the NA catalogue but that isn`t to say he isn`t somewhere . However there is a William Fraser , Royal Artillery , dates of service 1810-1886 . That strikes me as being unlikely to serve for perhaps 100yrs . It is probably the series dates for this WO 76/363/312 . Richard Hocking Edmonds signs Richard and Mr Harker the curate should have corrected this entry . but suddenly Elizabeth Beer , late Frazer, can no longer sign her name . And it is a Wm Beer who witnesses. with Mary Burt. Stoke Damerel Dec 1821. Guessing Elizabeth Beer is the dau of John and Mary , and Wm may be a brother or even a young son ? life is hard . soften it with a cat \\\=^..^=/// ----- Original Message ----- From: "B.
