    3. Hello Diana, Will see what I can find. Sadly, some of the Kingskerswell PRs are missing. The geography of 'Kerswell in relation to Wolborough parish which is now part of the town of Newton Abbot is as follows. Wolbororough, Abbotskerswell, Kingskerswell and then Torquay. You can take that as a broad sweep from Newton Abbot to Torquay. Give me a reminder if you think I am taking too long. Hi Dennis If you happen to have the Kingskerswell PRs on hand maybe you could check for any BISHOP baptisms in the 1825-1831 time period. According to the Tasmanian Convict records John BISHOP's wife Maria was living at Newton Abbot (probably went home to Mum) and there were 4 children. I have only found 2 sons baptised in Wolborough one of whom died as an infant. Kingskerswell is a parish in the area where they lived. My only connection to the BARTON and STOOKE families is because my GG-Grandfather stole from John Barton STOOKE, a Timber Merchant who lived at Hilly (or Holly) House, Howe Lane, Kingskerswell, he was born at Coffinswell.
