If that name was messed up so bad, there's got to be several others from that section of the registry as well. If you're searching for ancestors in Plymstock in the 1650 - 1660 time period, it behooves you to look at the images and study that vicar's handwriting very carefully. I've seen similar handwriting in other registries of that time period as well.
