Albert Edward SHUTE 1878, Stonehouse Lucy Augusta EDMONDS 1878 Plymouth Married 1897 at East Stonehouse [do not have date/church] The image for 1911 has a Lucy SHUTE [with what looks like the letter A scratched through] aged 32 married 12 years [abt right] with 8 children, 5 still alive with 3 deceased. BUT.............She is a Prisoner at Plymouth North [now where would that be?] and what on earth has she been up to? Is this my Lucy?? I have about 5 children all born East Stonehouse I think!! William Ewart [with his grandmother in 1911] Edith Born Mar 1899 died Jun 1899 Albert c 1900 [with grandmother in 1911] Herbert Henry born Jun Q 1900 [Herbert died Mar Q 1899 [before he was born, so cannot be same Herbert] Was he a twin to Edith? Victor Edmonds 1903 [with his grandmother in 1911] That make 5........ where/who are the others. When did Albert Edward Shute die? And what happened to poor Lucy aft 1911. I am really hoping the SHUTE people have been more clever than me and have sorted all this.
