Hi, I have recently discovered that I had another sister - Ronnie GEORGE who was born DecQ 1934, Devonport reg and died aged 16 hrs on 23 Nov 1934 at 21 Aubyn Street, Devonport - (from death cert PDF), her birth cert will not be posted until 16 December. I would like to find her burial record, I have checked a few burial records on line, but there are not many that cover 1934, can any one advise as to where she could possibly be buried. I and my other sister were both born in Chelston, Torquay (1937 and 1946), our parents are Ronald GEORGE and Ronny Ola MAPES. Although I was born in Devon, my parents came from Derbyshire and Lincolnshire so my research is up north, both grandmothers born in Yorkshire, my Mum's MAPES originally came from Norfolk. The Devon Family History Society has indexed the 2 largest Cemeteries in Plymouth- Weston Mill & Efford. The Efford cremations are still being done, but Weston Mill cremations are done. These indexes are available as part of the surname search in the Members' area of the Society's website. Whilst there are a lot of surname GEORGE there I can't see a Ronnie. Ford Park Cemetery is still open although it was closed for some time.
