Hi CArol, William Cole Batten, son of William Batten and Elizabeth Cole is our 2nd cousin 3 times removed. Elizabeth Cole his mother is our 1st Cousin 4 X removed. Elizabeth is the daughter of William Cole b.1791 (our 3rd cousin 5X removed) and Grace Taylor b.1795 (our 3rd great grand aunt). Grace Taylor is the daughter of William Taylor and Elizabeth Treble. William Taylor & Elizabeth Treble are our 4th Great Grandparents. Three other daughters of William & Elizabeth are Mariah, Rebecca & Charlotte Taylor. These three emigrated with their husbands & families to Canada. 1. Mariah Taylor, married Samuel Cole (our 3rd great grandparents) 2. Rebecca Taylor married our 1st cousin 5 x removed John Taylor. Rebecca & John Taylor emigrated to PEI, Canada . 3. Charlotte emigrated with Samuel & Mariah's family in 1843 to St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada.
