    3. Hi, I see John and Ann Vanstone in Barton, St Mary church , in the 1851 census , with their 5 daus and son John who is 3 months. all are born St Mary church, apart from John senr who is 40 and b Broadwoodkelly . Ann is 37 and therefore would have been born in 1814. It is possible that James Towel, though this could be Fowel, and his family who live next door to the Vanstones, is a brother . James wife Harriet is given a Not Known birth place. but with them is living James, father , widower, 75, b Crediton John and Ann are in the 1841 census at Barton with Mary , Ann and Sarah. Also in the 1841 at Barton is James Towel, 65, ag lab, James, 30, ag lab, Harriet, 30, and their 4 sons and two daus. St Mary church has Terry Leaman for its OPC and he will no doubt be able to find the bapt of Ann Towel and perhaps connect her to these two James who may well be her father and brother. If you go to genuki/devon/st marychurch then you will find his email . life is hard . soften it with a cat \\\=^..^=/// ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marianne Hansen" <stampingrammie2@msn.com> To: <devon@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, February 03, 2014 8:57 PM Subject: Re: [DEV] Benjamon Vanstone > > > > Elizabeth,On Feb 3, 2014, at 9:26 AM, elizabeth howard wrote: > >> >> Hi, whilst looking for Benj Vanstone, I came > across John Rockey , junr, buried aged 9 , 21.12.1835 of Moor Mill > buried at Petrockstowe .. 3. Elizabeth I submitted the original query re Benjamin VANSTONE which has been answered. Your message is in relation to a separate query from someone else. Could I suggest that any further correspondence has a different heading? You have not addressed your message to anyone. Bearing in mind, the content I assume it was not meant for me! :-) Adrian On 04/02/2014 12:51, elizabeth howard wrote: > Hi, I see John and Ann Vanstone in Barton, St Mary church > , in the 1851 census , with their 5 daus and son John who is 3 months. all > are born St Mary church, apart from John senr who is 40 and b Broadwoodkelly > .
