    3. My interest in Pirates etc has to do with a Mathew EDMONDS who is recorded as a Spanish Prisoner. My thoughts are that this Mathew was from Cornwall, and of course I wonder how he became a Spanish Prisoner in Totnes. It is a shame that not a lot of names are mentioned in the links that Joy has sent through. As for the name PASCO 13 Jan 1617 James HOLLAND married Pascow REEDE Tavistock 8 Aug 1663 John Palmer married Pascow Bruene Tavistock 5 Aug 1732 Hercules Pascow married Elizabeth Libby Tavistock In 1616 a Pasco ROE chr. a daughter Agnes 1618 James and Pascow HOLLAND s and d of James was chr. 1626 Pascow CAUNTER s/o William Then there is Pascho which I think could be another form of PASCO As you mention, a lot of this name around.
