I think Daniel was born c1815. There is a burial at Stoke Damerel 21 Jan 1886 Daniel S DOER aged 71, address Queen St. Elizabeth must have died because there is a marriage indexed Mar 1870 Stoke Damerel of Daniel Symons DORE to either Jane WILLIAMS or Jane REDDICLIFFE followed by a birth registration Daniel Symons DOER Stoke Damerel Sep 1861. I think I found him in 1861 as Daniel DOEE (FreeCEN) 9 Marlborough St, Stoke Damerel, born Plymouth, Stoker HMS Wellington. He has a stepson William WILLIAMS with him born Guernsey. The marriage image has what looks like Daniel Symons DORR and because he could not write his X is recorded as waht looks like Daniel S. DOOR. There is a Daniel DOOR death at Stepney in 1852, if this happens to be him, did Elizabeth remarry in 1857 at Kingston R/D? I am really hoping that someone has him in their tree, and knows what happened to them. Which ever way I look at it I think there are only 3 DOOR marriages on the 3 Towns CD, one being a Robert DOOR to Eliza HEANS 16 Jan 1814 also at Plymouth Charles, could this Robert be the father? Otherwise this name is fairly scarce in Devon. Does anyone have a DOOR/DORR marriage printout with a DOOR/DORR and SYMONS marriage? Regards and thanks for any suggestions.
