I wonder if anyone is researching these families? My 5g were Thomas King & Sarah Pepperall who married at Silverton in 1776. Difficult to tell who the father of Thomas was (some possibilities) but Sarah's parents were Humphrey & Ann. No sign of their marriage but both buried at Silverton. Humphrey was baptised at Kentisbeare in 1729. By 1841 all the Kings at Silverton were related in some way. Any comments appreciated. Francis Auckland, NZ
Did any of these King's move to Newfoundland? Francis: Like John King, I think Thomas King of Silverton was a seasonal fisherman that settled in Newfoundland after Sarah appears to have died in 1805 at Silverton, Thomas King of Newfoundland, with three of his brothers William, James & Edward bought a fishing room at Newfoundland in 1788.I believe I am descended from his son William. How are you connected? Wayne
