Hello Monica I have a Rebecca BALE born at Newton St Cyres abt 1720. She married Christopher SWALE (from Yorkshire) at Topsham in 1759, and was buried in Topsham 21 April 1810. As Newton St Cyres and Cullompton are only about 11 miles apart and their deaths only about 13 years apart, it is possible that Rebecca and Thomas are related, so yes please, I would be interested to see the extract and probate of Thomas's will. The earliest BALE baptism at St Cyres was in 1556 - a Thomasyn BALE baptised 20 March. Anyone who may be able to help find the father/parents of Rebecca BALE, I would love to hear from you.
