    1. Re: [DEV] Dartmouth mariners taken by Barbary Corsairs

    3. Hi Gion: I fear that a message that I attempted to send you, after your first posting (on Topsham mariners and the Barbary Corsairs) did not reach either you or my email archive. I don't know what went wrong. In the lost message I thanked you for your posting but urged that you provide proper citations (archive reference numbers) for each of the various items that you'd found. (I now gather from your subsequent postings that you were using A2A to search the DRO's quarter sessions records, so the DRO reference numbers are directly obtainable; it would also be nice to know exactly how you did your searches so that others can understand the scope of each search, and so identify what records no longer need checking, and which others are still worth investigating.) If you - or some other kind soul - would augment these lists with such citation details I'd be delighted to turn the results into web pages for adding into into the relevant parish pages in GENUKI/Devon.
