    3. I think we are getting closer. Solomon Ford was listed as being born in 1831 in the 1850 US Census. He lived with a family named Babbage also born in England. There is an Ann 1808 and Rachael 1810 as husband and wife. The Rachael is listed as male and looks like the female name. It could be Raphael. Also in the same family and all born in England are Richard Babbage (1829) and Sophia Babbage (1831) and a Fanny Hunt (1826). I have never seen the middle name H spelled out to know what it could be. The proposed parents was born Agnes Heale.
