In the 1911 census index there is the following entry - Mary Ann TURNER - age 64 - School Mistress Head Teacher of Plymouth Public (girl) - Devon - Born c 1847 Plymouth Devon Unfortunately it does not specify if she is a Miss or a Mrs. Does anyone have any information about this school, and in particular this head mistress? Hi, the image shows that this is a council school and that both Mary Ann aged 64 and her servant aged 73 are single .
