Thanks to Joy and Kathryn I have found my Mary Ann JEFFERY!!! Now the last one in the family of nine to sort out is John. Born Ashprington 1833 to John JEFFERY and Agnes FOXWORTHY. The last I find him is on 1851 census as Shoemaker, as was his father, and living at home in Totnes. I have these deaths around the area.. Mar Q 1855 5b 171 Totnes (I think this is his father) Mar Q 1859 – 5b 142 Totnes Mar Q 1861 – Plymouth 5b 188 Jun Q 1862 – Plymouth 5b 167 Mar Q 1864 Plympton 5b 176 Mar Q 1864 – East Stonehouse 5b 247 I do know that some of his siblings moved (mining) to around Bootle & Millon Cumbria, but not until about 1880’s – does not appear with them as far as I can see. Neither can I find him leaving the country. Any help with possible burials, age at death etc which would narrow down purchasing a certificate would be really appreciated.
