Bev Edmonds need look no further than an Ordnance Survey map of South Devon/Dartmoor. The parish name is well advertised by a large West Country retail store in the parish, which started near Liskeard in Cornwall. (Adds here are forbidden) The village of Liverton on the road south of the wood is probably where the farm was situated. The map, while not showing the farm, clearly marks Old Leys Wood on the north side of the road leading from the old A38 to Ilsington and Haytor. >From the modern A38 turn off at Drum Bridge which is where the Newton Abbot road to Bovey Tracey crosses the A38.
