Alexander's discharge is also on Findmypast. It gives his birth as 1789 in Tandragee. He qualified for the Waterloo Medal and the two years extra pension credit. He would also get a share of the bounty, the value of cannons and other weaponss etc captured from the French. There were no bravery awards as we know them at this time, the Waterloo Medal was issued later and said it al about those who fought in the battle. There will me more in the musters and regimental record at the UK National Archives but this requires a visit. Tandragee is in the civil parish of Ballymore. There are no Catholic or Non-Conformist records until around 1849 but Church of Ireland records start in 1783. As far as I can tell microfilm copies are available in the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) and some may be online at rootsireland.ie. In the PRONI e-catologue you may referencess to the family. Alexander was a soldier in the Inniskilling(sic) Dragoons and Ann was of this parish. An image of the marriage record is on Find my Past. Ann the daughter of Isaac and Jane Adams was baptised in Tiverton on May 24th 1794. This was also on Find my Past.
