Hi, if you go to genuki devon langtree , you will see that it is a parish which buts onto Parkham and several other parishes . You will also see that Betsy Rubel offers to do look ups in the parish registers from the 1600s . Are you sure of the line from Robert born 1600 to William b 1630, to John born 57 years later in 1687, to Thomas born 44 years later to Elizabeth b 45 years later . I might be tempted to suggest that there are generation gaps between these . I have heard they may have been from Cornwall. The earliest I can locate is Rbt Nancekivel born in 1600 in Langtree, Devon who was my 7th great grandfather. The generations from there are: William born in 1630 in Langtree, John born `1687 in Langtree, Thomas born 1731 (not sure where he was born, but could have been Farringdon), Thomas II born 1763 in Parkham, and Elizabeth Nancekivell born 1808 in Woolfardisworthy. Do you have any information about the Nankivell family that you could share? I have been searching for information about them for many years and always hope to learn something new.
