I have a YEO line too, and have tentatively traced it all the way back to Charlemagne. The 'gateway' person in this line, linking the nobility to us ordinary folk, is Ellen Grenville (1430-1485) daughter of Sir William Grenville (1400-1449). His mother's line goes back through the deCourtenays, deBohuns and Plantagenets. But I'm not 100% sure I've got the connection to the Yeos right, so I'd be interested to know if anyone else has the same line, or a similar one.
