Although I think the conversion of these buildings is a very good idea, please think about disabled parking. It used to be so good when you could use the bay's and back entrance to the library. Now with the library moved to its present position! Again Plymouth have not thought it through. I have heard of plans to pedestrianise the back road to the old library/ museum. At least at the present building one can park. Will the DRO archives, that was next to the tyre factory last time I was visiting, also be moved to the new site? Yes Diane, the Plymouth and West Devon Record Office, Museum and Art Gallery, South West Film and Television Archive, South West Image Bank, Local and Naval Studies Library, all under one roof. It's very exciting! Check out http://www.plymouth.gov.uk/loveourpast Rosemary, the disabled parking will still be in Tavistock Place, with good access at the front and rear of the buildings and lifts inside. Congratulations to all of you who have campaigned so long and so hard to get a good result for the DRO at Plymouth. I hope you all have big smiles on your faces!
