    1. [DEV] Richard Squibb Keats (1829--c1867....)
    2. No , I can`t even find him in the National Archives, nor Britishnewspapersarchive nor any other source like the London Gazette etc. Lloyds lists , he must have been a mariner as it says in the 1861 census rather than a merchant seaman or a RN sailor . But his will seems to prove he was dead in Oct 1867 and the probate waits 2 years for this to be administered. Did you find Eliza Louisa in the 1871 as a widow ? -----Original Message----- From: liverpud Sent: Sunday, September 25, 2016 5:30 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [DEV] Richard Squibb Keats (1829--c1867....) Trying to locate this fellow, seems he went "missing" and have not found any record of death at home or at sea. The family had connections to the Worth family of Bristol and Exeter. He sailed on many ships throughout his short career. Will/Probate: at First Avenue House, London. Richard Squibb Keats of Crosby Villa, Southville, Bedminster, Bristol, master mariner, died in or since Oct. 1867 at --- prob. 15 Oct. 1869, by Francis Oliver Worth (Eliza Louisa's brother) one of the executors. Under 300 **** no GRO entry.
