Yes please do migrate this list to Groups.io. I'm in a few Yahoo groups that did so a few months ago and I'm finding that I like the Groups.io interface. My DEVINE ancestor (Mary or Maria, who married David Bailey of Clark County Ohio in the mid-1800's) remains a mysterious lady so I will follow this list where it goes. Thank you, V. Hi All, I wonder if anyone has any information about my grandfather John DEVINE b. 1901 Glasgow. His father was Joseph DEVINE b. 1870 who was the son of Bernard DEVINE b. approx 1843 Ireland and Susan BOYLE b. approx 1844 Lanark. His mother was Mary GALLACHER b. 1869. Joseph Devine's second wife was Mary Alice BARNES. John Joseph DEVINE married Doris HILL 1924 in New South Wales Australia. I believe he married a second time in 1939, Ellen Johanna LEAKE only this time he gave his middle name as Patrick. Patrick was also given as his middle name on his father's death certificate. I have searched for many years trying to discover where and when John Devine died. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Louise.
