You can access the 1880 census free on Ancestory.com for awhile. I have been searching for my US ancestors with not much success, but did find some extended members of the family. The worst thing is trying to figure out all the different combinations of spelling that may have been used. Even with Soundex, it's not always bringing up everyone. Linda
