Hello Maurine and the List, I can't seem to get to the information. What do I do when I get to the first screen? It looks something like a 'Yahoo' screen...but in German. How do I find the Horst Grieshaber website? Thanks for the help....and the information. Pat, With Maurine finding the web site at a cached address, it may be hard to relocate. Herr Grieshaber had been a member of this List at one time. He entered a number of surnames and his web site address on many of our Search Pages. That web site URL is no longer a live URL and you are referred to the home ISP location. For Maurine to have found the information, I might guess she used a < google.com > search and using the < cached > portion to read a no longer existing web page. I tried a < google.com > search for < grieshaber + horst + genealogy > and had a number of hits. Several looked promising but I didn't find the one Maurine had found and I ended up with the ISP home page in each instance. Although, along the way I did see reference to a number of his surnames. Perhaps one of our capable List members living in Germany may know Herr Grieshaber and be able to give us a current URL for his web site....unless Maurine can give us her miracle of how she got to that cached site. djweber [email protected] ---------------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Zipf" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, June 04, 2005 10:03 PM Subject: [Ortenau] Re: German Genealogy Site > Hello Maurine and the List, > > I can't seem to get to the information.
