    3. Wendelin, This question came up before, but I'm not too sure if I'm understanding you correctly. For the marriages in Niederschopfheim, you have listed dates. The first four numbers refer to the year, but are the second three numbers referring to the month and day? And if so, are they reversed from what is common in the U.S.? Example: 1707 126 Schaub Joh. Georg cum Meyer Elisabeth Would this mean?: Year: 1707 Day: 12 Month: 6 (June) Also, where did these dates come from? Civil or church records? Thanks again for helping out with this! Carol
