As far as I know there was only 1 newspaper in Lahr. The "Lahrer Wochenblatt" was one of the 1st newspapers in this area. It seems it was published weekly till 1866, was published 6 times per week under the name "Ortenauer Tagblatt und Lahrer Wochenblatt" in 1867 und 1868, and changed the name to "Lahrer Zeitung" in 1869.
