Hi Rose, yes I would also assume a person with the name Baudendistel was from the Oberkirch area, especially when I visit the B-W emigration page. There are some Anton Hunds who emigrated with permission from this area: Renchen 1839 Renchen 1849 Nußbach 1854 Kappelrodeck 1854 Stadelhofen 1867 (2 x) Kappelrodeck 1882 and maybe others who emigrated without permission The date is sometimes not the year of emigration because some people asked for permission when they were already in North America since some years. - Wendelin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter & Rose Goutbeck" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, August 14, 2005 11:53 PM Subject: [Ortenau] Hund/ Baudendistel > Anton Hund/Hundt and his wife is Catharina Badendistel/ Baudendistel > immigrated to Bruce County, was in Carrick Township, listed in 1871 > census, Ontario, Canada. Rose, Here again, I know there were a couple films for Stadelhofen (A. Oberkirch) on indefinite loan at my local FHC that I could do a look up for you. If I'd find them their, I could point you to the exact film to order. Unfortunately, however, I already sent back the films for Nußbach.
