In reviewing one of your earlier emails I came across the reference to a 1993 reprint of the Ichenheim kinship book. The German individual that sent me portions of the Ichenheim book said it was published in the 1970s. Do you know the availability of the 1993 publication and if I can purchase such? My thank you!! Maurine, My apologies for the delay in answering your questions. Messages, too often tend to slid up and disappear from view in my inbox. I think that, on the whole, messages are now working through Rootsweb. I admit I have not looked at their Help Desk information today. I have the ability to read my messages online as my ISP is part of EarthLink and each day, now, I have been going into the EarthLink-stopped Spam messages to see what they have to delete without going to my inbox. It was only that one Rootsweb message from several days ago so my bet is that all is working close to correct. About the Ortssippenbuch for Ichenheim, I had to go back to my original message in the Archives because the dates of your question confused me. I had no dates; I knew no dates. I do not know how much a difference is in that book as compared to the 1977 book. I came across the hint of Ichenheim for a grandfather of my mother-in-law.
