    2. You know if you replaced the flour with cocoa powder you have a very interesting truffle recipe. Although very, very rich. My grandmother used to make something like this, long before I knew her. My mom was the last one to see the recipe. She was born in Alsace near the Black Forest. The name is so very familiar, but I can't seem to find a reference to it anywhere. I'm sure this is the same thing my mother called treacle balls. Couldn't tell you where she got that from.
