Does anyone on the list have an OSB that lists Kippenheimweiler, Kr. Lahr, Baden? I would appreciate a look up for Andreas Hertenstein, * abt 1650, a Bauer there, married to Anna Maria Baumann. Married April 13, 1676 in Kippenheim. Any data would help. Thanks Darrel

Hello again Darrel, #245 in the Kippenheimweiler OSB.... Andreas Hertenstein was born/bpt 29 April 1648 in Kippenheimweiler and died there 6 Oct 1699. He was the son of Matthias Hertenstein and Anna Held who were married there in 1645. Their entry is the first for the name in this OSB. Matthias was born about 1621 and died 30 Aug 1688. He was the son of Andreas Hertenstein and Margaretha nee Zürcher. Anna Held was the daughter of Thomas Held in Baldingen/Württenberg. Andreas Hertenstein (#245) was a bauer and Anna Maria Baumann was his first of three wives. They married on 13 April 1676 as you know. Anna Maria was the daughter of Jakob Baumann of Oberweier (think someone on the list has that book and it was mentioned yesterday) Anna Maria died 24 Nov 1679. Andreas and Anna Maria had just one child....Matthias born in 1677. Andreas had 5 children with his 2nd wife, Susanna Widergrün (married 11 Nov 1680) and 2 more children with his 3rd wife, Susanna Knecht. (married 20 Feb 1696).
