Kathy, Rootsweb handles Lists in different manner. Much depends on which Server serves the particular List. Your problem is most probably a combination of you being on the Digest format for this List, List server #9 which supports the Deu-Bad-Ortenau List and your ISP as Rootsweb may need an adjustment in their mailings for your ISP. I have switched from Digest to direct Mail on several Rootsweb Lists because of the attachment procedure. This List is not that active.
