Maybe we have a listmember who owns the Seelbuch. Has the Seelbuch of Vimbuch an entry for Paul Hettig (Hettich, Hättig, Hättich...)? Wendelin, I have the Seelbuch for Vimbuch which includes the community of Oberweier and I do not see that surname in the Vimbuch parish or any community noted in the Seelbuch (Balzhofen, Henchhurst, Kinzhurst, Moos,Oberbruch, Oberweier, Vimbuch and Zell.) I have the Gamshurst OFB (Ortsfamilienbuch) and there are 5 HÄTTICH families noted from 1750-1820; but there is not a single child born with the name of Paul. I have the Grossweier Ortsfamilienbuch and there is no mention of a Hettich or variant spelling of it in Grossweier. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
