Thanks for your response. Anyone who has a tombstone, military marker, funeral home marker, wooden cross (even if only with just a last name on it), or any other type of grave monument or marker, they've definitely been memorialized on Find A Grave for Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Blades, Sussex Co., DE. I did multiple very careful quality-control thoroughness and accuracy checks to ensure that that not a single person has been overlooked who today has a marked grave there. By any chance, are the people you've mentioned instead buried in the immediately adjacent Blades Cemetery? It's separated from Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery by only a hill. Most people buried there (Blades Cemetery) were former residents of Blades, whereas most decedents buried in OLOL Cemetery were Catholic who may have lived anywhere throughout the area, or were married to an area Catholic, or perhaps were former Catholics, buried in a family plot. Please get back to me about this. If the people you've mentioned were definitely buried in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Cemetery in Blades, I'll be glad to create Find A Grave memorials for them. If so, if you could send me scans or transcriptions of their obituaries, I'll be happy to write basic biographies about them. I'm presently working on writing biographies, from obituaries (and for certain people an additional external source or more), for as many people buried there as obituaries can be located for. I've noticed that many Seaford-Blades-Laurel (etc.) area Catholics, for whatever reason, got buried in either the Blades Cemetery or other cemeteries in Seaford or the other surrounding towns. Thanks for writing. Dave Wilson Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
