I have a Phebe Bayley/Bailey born about 1800 I think in that area. I do not know her husband, but her son is Alfred M. Bayley/Bailey and he married Catherine (possibly maiden name Atkins). I think they were all from the Milford/Milton area. Alfred and Catherine had my greatgrandfather, Edward Joseph/Joseph Edward Bailey m to Ella Dodd. Ella Dodd's family is a bit of a mystery, too. **************It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms, and advice on AOL Money & Finance. (http://money.aol.com/tax?NCID=aolprf00030000000001)
This may be a long shot, but my gg-grandmother was Phebe Messick married to John Bailey of Sussex Co, DE. My g-grandfather was their son, Joshua Bailey (1838-1910). He married Sarah Hitchens and they lived in Milton, DE. Do you think that there might be a connection?
